Under the Transatlantic Networks of Excellence in Cardiovascular Research Program the Fondation Leducq awards grants of up to U.S. $6,000,000 over five years for internationally collaborative research in cardiovascular and neurovascular disease.  As of 2012, the foundation has supported 35 networks, representing more than 320 investigators at 120 institutions in 17 countries.
